This week's Original Joe's Workplace Superstar is Joanne Fournier who is a K/1 teacher at Ponteix School.

Terry sent in the nomination for Joanne and told us this about her:

"Joanne is a dedicated, hard working K/1 teacher at Ponteix School. Joanne puts in long hours so that her students will have the best education possible-to become life-long learners. She arrives early and stays late (she often has supper at the school). She usually works through her lunch hour and recesses-correcting, and helping students. She is also active with our extra curricular programs. (unfortunately the Pandemic has affected that area this year, but she did manage to run a cross country program in the fall before shutdown). She is the teacher rep on the School Community Council. She recently spent many hours preparing for a successful school virtual Bingo. She is always willing to share her resources and steps up to help any staff member or student. She is also extremely organized. Joanne is a top-notch teacher, who is loved by her staff and students. She is deserving of the OJ's workplace superstar award."

Joanne has won a $25 gift certificate from Original Joe's and the title of Workplace Superstar for this week, while Terry is now in our next nominators' draw, where she will have a chance to win another $25 OJ's gift certificate on May 20!
