January 24, 1950 to May 22nd, 2023-

Judith Ann Potter was born in Toronto, Ontario on January 24th, 1950 to parents Blanche and Clifford Wilson. Five years later, the family would welcome Sister Sharon to the family .Judy was born in eastern Canada and always held Toronto close to her heart. She was an avid music lover and enjoyed being a globetrotter. Judith is survived by her son Paul (Nolfa and Tatiana), her sister Sharon (Jim and Heather) and her extended family and friends. Judy enjoyed seeing the world and one of her favorite places was Fiji with Hawaii being a close second. Judy travelled to Fiji and lived in Hawaii with Colin Potter where she walked the beaches daily, enjoyed macadamia nuts and fully embraced the local culture. We would like to thank Dr. Cooper and the Kyle Health Centre for their care and attention given to Judy. Her last weeks were filled with love, laughter and storytelling as her family joined her in Kyle where she loved to sit by her pond in the garden and listen to the birds. Saying goodbye is never easy but our hearts are full of gratitude knowing Judy is finally resting. Judy walked to the beat of her own drum. She took pride in being a child of the 60's and truly believed in the words of John Lennon and aspired to live by them: "Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one."

As per Judy's request there will be no service. Memorial donations can be made to the Salvation Army-P.O. Box 2061, Swift Current, SK , S9H 4M7.
