Late last month, Kindersley RCMP received a report of a sexual assault that occurred a month prior.
Officers conducted a search warrant on Stewart Crescent in Kindersley last Thursday in relation to the report, where they found and seized a number of improperly stored firearms.
Jeffrey Houle from Kindersley was arrested at the residence and is facing 12 charges: one count of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference, one count making sexually explicit material available to a person under the age of 16, six counts of careless storage of a firearm, two counts unlicensed possession of a prohibited device, and one count of a firearm without registration.
The 38-year-old appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Friday.
Kindersley RCMP continue to investigate and believe there may be more victims.
Sexual assault is a serious crime, and Kindersley RCMP stated in a media release that it investigates every complaint thoroughly, with the utmost professionalism and care.
