Mitch Marner and William Nylander scored their first goals of the series and the Toronto Maple Leafs held on for a 2-1 win over Florida to avoid a sweep by the Panthers. Joseph Woll made 24 saves in his first playoff start for the Leafs.

Meanhwile, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored his first goal of the playoffs as Edmonton rolled past Vegas 4-1 to tie their series up at two games apiece. Nick Bjugstad, Evan Bouchard and Mattias Ekholm also scored for the Oilers and Stuart Skinner made 25 saves.

Carolina hosts New Jersey with a chance to eliminate the Devils with a win tonight, while Dallas welcomes Seattle with the series tied 2-2.

Phillies rally to beat Jays in extras

A throwing error by Bo Bichette brought home the winning run in the 10th inning as the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Toronto Blue Jays 2-1 to sweep their two-game series.

Brandon Belt hit a solo home run for the Jays in the fifth inning, and that held up until the bottom of the ninth when JT Realmuto tied it for the Phillies with an RBI double.

The Jays are off today before starting a 10-game homestand on Friday against Atlanta.

Warriors, Knicks stay alive

Steph Curry scored 27 points and Canadian Andrew Wiggins added 25 as the Golden State Warriors staved off elimination with a 121-106 win over the LA Lakers.

In other NBA playoff action, the New York Knicks also stayed alive with a 112-103 win over the Miami Heat. Jalen Brunson had 38 points and nine rebounds for the Knicks.

Tonight, Philadelphia hosts Boston with the 76ers looking to eliminate the Celtics with a win, and Phoenix hosts Denver needing a win to force a seventh and deciding game in that series.
