The Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires fell 4-3 to the Moose Jaw WINMAR Warriors in the only game of the weekend Friday night in the Friendly City.

Parker Rondeau opened the scoring for Swift Current just a minute into the game on the power play before Wyatt LaCoste tied it for Moose Jaw just 46 seconds later. Cobe Perlinger scored his team-leading 21st goal of the season as the Legionnaires took a 2-1 lead after 20 minutes. Caleb Potter tied it back up early in the second period before Rylan Williams scored on the power play to put Swift Current ahead again midway through the frame, but Connor Miller evened things up again with 5:17 left in the second. The tie held up through the third period and 90 seconds of three-on-three overtime when Potter scored his second of the game to give the Warriors the victory.

Jett Lamb added two assists and Jacob Morris made 31 saves as Swift Current outshot Moose Jaw 43-35.

The Legionnaires (24-10-0-4) will have the week off before they host the Saskatoon Contacts next weekend.
