The Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires fell 3-2 to the Warman Wildcats on Sunday to split a weekend road swing.

Jackson Fox opened the scoring 3:03 into the second period, but the Wildcats responded with three unanswered goals, two from Trey Markus and another from Kaleb Dewar, to make it 3-1 in the third period. Fox scored his second of the game to cut the Legionnaires' deficit with 52 seconds left, but the comeback fell short.

Berney Weston and Jacob Morris combined for 27 saves as the Wildcats outshot Swift Current 30-25.

The Legionnaires (20-7-3) will host the Moose Jaw WINMAR Warriors in their next game on Tuesday night.
