A day after beating the Stars 5-1, the Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires won their second-straight in the Battlefords by that same 5-1 scoreline on Sunday.

The Battlefords opened the scoring with Ryder Ellis midway through the first period, but the Legionnaires rattled off five unanswered goals from five different goal scorers. Griffin Darby tallied in the first period, Parker Rondeau added a goal in the second, and Mason Fauser, Connor Rieger and Kade Stringer all scored in the third period.

Jacob Morris made 27 saves as the Legionnaires outshot the Stars 37-28.

The Legionnaires (25-11-3) will visit the Notre Dame Hounds in their next game on Thursday.
