The Swift Current Home Hardware "AAA" Legionnaires edged Notre Dame 4-3.

The Home Hardware midget crew opened up the pre-season with the victory over the Hounds as the team uses the exhibition season to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses.

Next action for the Legionnaires is Sunday at 1pm when they host the Hounds at the Civic Center.

The first regular season game is set for September 23rd in Yorkton.
