The Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires came back from down 6-3 in the third period to defeat the Tisdale Trojans 7-6 in overtime on the road Saturday night.

Kale Margolis opened the scoring for the Trojans midway through the first period. Cobe Perlinger scored his eighth goal of the season to tie it with 1:47 left in the first, but Tisdale got their lead back with a goal from Ryder Mucha 35 seconds later.

Cam Perlinger picked up his eighth goal of the year to put the Legionnaires level with the Trojans again, but Jack Bechard and Margolis added two goals for Tisdale to put them up 4-2 after 40 minutes.

Pryce Thiessen made it 5-2 for Tisdale early in the third before Parker Rondeau cut the Legionnaires' deficit to 5-3. Carter Ralston scored to put the Trojans up by three with 12:50 left in the game. Cam Perlinger picked up his second of the game and ninth goal of the season with 5:57 left, and then Brendan Quinn-Lagria scored his third of the year on the power play with 2:55 remaining. Jace Egland scored his team-leading 10th goal of the season with 27 seconds left in regulation to complete the comeback and send the game to overtime. Cobe Perlinger's second goal of the game and ninth of the season at 1:04 of the extra frame gave the Legionnaires their 15th win in their last 16 games.

Cobe added four assists to get six points for Swift Current and Cam had three helpers for a five-point night. Jacob Morris made 26 saves as the Legionnaires outshot the Trojans 40-32.

Swift Current (15-3-0-1) will look to sweep their three-game weekend road swing when they face the Trojans again on Sunday afternoon.
