The Bentley in Swift Current attracted a crowd of people to their Cheese and Wine Open House yesterday afternoon to showcase all that the Bentley has to offer.

The event ran from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with fruit, cheese, rose and red and white wines along with entertainment at 3 p.m. in the dining room.

Leslie Noble, executive director at the Bentley, noted that in addition to three meals a day provided in the dining room, the staff are exceptional, residents can participate in a variety of activities, and the building is pet friendly.

"We usually have at least two open houses a year, promoting what we have to offer here, we give tours of the building if people are interested, and just to make ourselves known in the community," said Noble.

Don Koch, leasing consultant with the Bentley, was delighted for the opportunity for community members to come check out the Bentley and mingle.

"Small-town life, small-town feel, and that's the number one thing about this building," Koch said. "The residents are friendly with each other, they're comfortable with each other, as opposed to some of the bigger buildings in the big cities.

"Every building has got glass windows, carpets, and walls, what sets them apart is the personality of the people that live in the residence," he added.
