The 2020 portion of the league schedule started with a win for the Abbey Resources Midget AA Broncos.

The Midget AA Broncos headed into the Christmas break with a tough one-goal loss to the league-leading Estevan Bruins (22-1-1-1). Coming out of it though, Swift used goals from Cade Reich, Dayne Feicht, and Chase Sawchuk to hand the tough Prairie Storm a 3-1 loss on Sunday.

Vincent Pinsonneault made 36 saves for the big W against a tough opponent.

The Midget AA Broncos improve to 18-5-1-1 and in third place in the South Sask standings with 38 points, while the Prairie Storm drop to 18-4-3-2, and still in second with 41 points - though the Broncos have two games in hand.

The Midget AA Broncos are in tournament action this weekend and not back to league play until January 15.
