The Pure Chem Bantam AA Broncos earned a Sunday win in their first action since the Christmas break.

It rained goals in the game, as Swift Current executed a narrow 8-7 win over the Saskatoon Stallions on the road.

The Bantam AA Broncos led 3-2 after the first and 7-5 after the second, holding off a late charge from the Stallions in the third.

Captain Kalan Lind had a team high three goals and five points in the Broncos' fifth-straight win.

Brayden Sumner had a pair of goals, with one apiece from Rylan Williams, Madden Wallis, and Cutter Knight.

The Bantam AA Broncos stay in third place in the south division standings with a 14-4-0-0 record, having handed the North division-leading Stallions just their second loss of the year.

The Bantam Broncos are back on the road Wednesday night against the second-place Regina Monarchs (15-3-0-0).
