The Swift Current Broncos have traded defenceman Tanner Muth to the Kootenay Ice in exchange for forward Adam Rossignol.

The 6'0" 180lb Surrey, BC product was drafted by Kootenay 147th overall in 2008. Rossignol has six goals and 13 points in 39 games for the Ice this season. Muth had one goal and three assists in 38 games with the Broncos this season.

Broncos Assistant General Manager and Director of Player Personnel, Jamie Porter, said in a press release "Adam is a skilled centre that will fit in great with the age group we are looking to build on. He plays well on the penalty kill and has also spent some time on the power play.  With our current injuries, acquiring a player like him will be a great asset to our organization.”

Rossignol may be in the lineup tonight or tomorrow, as the Broncos continue their road trip in the Central Division against the Rebels and Oil Kings.
