A pair of PEI residents led multiple RCMP detachments on a high-speed chase through Swift Current last November, which resulted in one police cruiser being destroyed and another being damaged. 

Brandon Condon-White of Montague, PEI, who was driving the stolen vehicle entered a guilty plea on August 28. 

His sentencing includes serving a total of two years in jail and paying a restitution of $57,000 for the RCMP vehicle that was totaled. 

According to * Crown Prosecutor of the Swift Current Provincial Court, Codon-White pleaded guilty to several offences relating to the incident, including operating a motor vehicle while prohibited, possession of a stolen Toyota Corolla, possession of a stolen license plate, operating a motor vehicle while being pursued by a peace officer and failing to stop as soon as practicable in the circumstances, two counts of mischief over $5,000, and dangerous operation of a conveyance.  

He was also on a probation order out of his home province and pleaded guilty to failing to comply with it.  

Kendell Marie Hardt of Charlottetown, passenger in the stolen vehicle being pursued, was sentenced in January and served a total of five months in custody.
