Swift Current RCMP has confirmed that the individual hit riding their bike yesterday has passed away.
The collision occurred shortly before 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of Friesen Street and Third Avenue Southeast. RCMP arrived to find both the victim and the driver still at the scene.
Identified as a 36-year-old male from Swift Current, the bike rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
His family has been notified.
