Diagnostic procedures and surgeries are being postponed.

Health Region Official, Diane Larrivee, can’t pinpoint a single cause for the logjam of patients.

To limit stress on patients awaiting diagnostic and surgical procedures, the Region is giving patients a days notice of the postponements.

Health officials say anyone needing urgent medical attention should visit one of the emergency departments in the Region.
