Results are in from the August 15th sale of Crown petroleum and natural gas dispositions with a significant amount of money being generated in the southwest.

Ed Dancsok is the Director of the Geology and Petroleum Lands Branch, he says the Swift Current area came in third at 4. 5 million.

Sales of Crown petroleum and natural gas dispositions hovering around the average price per hectare of over one-hundred and seventy-four dollars since June.

Overall, the August sale brought in over thirty-two million dollars in revenue for the province, which Dancsok says is contributing to a record pace; land sales this year to date have already touched the total amount generated in all of 2005.
