The remainder of provincial court matters, including circuit court locations, will start to resume in the southwest as of June 11.

There had previously been reduced services and adjournments in the majority of Provincial Court proceedings since late March due to the pandemic.

The first southwest court to resume will be the circuit point in Maple Creek, which is back at it today.

Maple Creek's matters from both its adjourned April 9 and May 14 dates will both be addressed today.

The remainder of courts in the southwest will be opening in the coming days and weeks:

  • June 17 - Swift Current Provincial Court docket
  • June 25 - Swift Current traffic court

There will continue to be restricted access to courthouses around the province, as only those necessary for regular proceedings, along with members of the media, will be allowed in.
