One eastbound lane has opened up to traffic again on Highway 1 near Rush Lake, as crews work to clear the scene.

Drivers headed east on the Trans-Canada Highway this morning should be prepared to stop around Rush Lake. 

According to the Highway Hotline, the hills near the community are icy this morning, and semis are unable to climb them.

Swift Current Online also received a report at 6:50 a.m. that two semitrucks had collided, completely blocking the eastbound lane.

Emergency vehicles and EMS are on scene.
