Hockey Canada announced the invitees to their virtual summer training camp for the national junior team, and five players from Saskatchewan were on the list.

Reigning scoring champion for the WHL with the Spokane Chiefs, Adam Beckman is on the list. He's from Saskatoon, as well as fellow invitee and Kamloops Blazers forward Connor Zary.

Brandon Wheat Kings blueliner Braden Schneider (from Prince Albert) and Kayden Korzack, a defenceman with the Kelowna Rockets that's from Yorkton, also received invites.

Dylan Cozens, Quintin Byfield, Jamie Drysdale, Bowen Byram, Connor McMichael, and Dawson Mercer are the returnees from last year's gold medal-winning team. And the top projected pick for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Alexis Lafreniere, also received an invite but isn't required to attend.

Camp is slated to run July 27-31.
