Today's daily COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority reports that there are 13 new cases today in the province.

Ten of those new cases are in the South Region and are connected to the outbreak in the Maple Creek area,  two are in the North Region and one is in the Far North Region.

That brings Saskatchewan's total to 772 cases.

Of those 772 cases, 105 are considered active.

The total number of active cases in the South Region now sits at 38.

There has been six more recoveries today, bringing the total number of persons recovered to 654.

Nine individuals are hospitalized: eight are receiving inpatient care-four in the South, three in the North and one in Saskatoon- and one person is in intensive care in Saskatoon.

To date, 63,116 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province.
