A woman who was charged with arson on October 19th appeared via video in Swift Current Provincial Court Monday morning.

Phylisia Smiley was accused of setting fire to the historical Clarendon Hotel located in Gull Lake on Sunday, October 9th.

Judge Karl Bazin has adjourned her court case until February 15th at 9:30 a.m. when she will appear in-person for sentencing.

The adjournment time will allow her to be transferred from Pine Grove Correctional Centre where she completed her mental health assignment to Swift Current in time for her in-person hearing.
