Hey, it’s Alex Kozroski, the Southwest Explorer; excited to have another great weekend touring southwest locations and events. My weekend is looking like the perfect prairie experience, and I hope you all come out to find me for a chance to win some Full Line Ag Fun Bucks.

On Saturday, I’ll be cruising in my Cypress Motors F-150 to the Reid Lake Walleye Fishing Tournament. There will be a talented roster of teams looking to win big cash prizes, and rumor has it about 100 will be out on the water. That scale is interesting to me, as I have never been to a fishing tournament and this seems like a huge event. Burgers, hotdogs and refreshing beverages will all be a part of this event, including a beer gardens. I will be mingling inconspicuously among the spectators, with hopes that a patron will recognize me so that I can give them some Full Line Ag Fun Bucks.

On Sunday, I will be hiding in the crowd in a big white cowboy hat for the 115th Murraydale Stampede. I have been to many rodeos in my life, but this one is especially exciting for me because it is the first time I will participate. I have registered for the bull riding event, which I have never even tried. I can’t wait to be a part of something so ingrained in Saskatchewan’s culture. That will be a great place to keep an eye on me both in and out of the corrals, and I can’t wait to hand out some Full Line Ag Fun Bucks.

Check out Swift Current Online for a recap of my quick tour at Cypress Hills on Sunday morning as well.
