In the July 2, 2021, COVID-19 report, the Saskatchewan Health Authority is reporting 21 new cases of the virus in the province.

That brings the total number of cases to 48,882, with 405 of those cases considered active.

There were 36 recoveries, and 57 people remaining in Hospital; 45 residents receiving inpatient care, and 12 residents in intensive care.

There were no new deaths reported, leaving that total number at 568.

Taking a look at the vaccination numbers, Saskatchewan currently sits at 1,194,535 total vaccines administered in the province, and 466,374 residents considered fully vaccinated.

Here in the southwest, there is one new case of the virus. This one is in southwest sub-zone 2 and is the only reported case in the region.

The region's vaccination numbers currently show 15,004 residents as fully vaccinated, with 36,466 total doses administered in the two sub-zones.
