Swift Current and area art enthusiasts can stop by With Love Collective and Made. Cafe in Swift Current tomorrow afternoon to meet the artist of a brand-new exhibit.

Saskatoon artist, Diane Larouche Ellard, grew up in Biggar and will be featured alongside her collection, 'Our Prairie', tomorrow from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Laureen Marchand, owner and curator at Grasslands Gallery Online, curated Ellard's exhibit as part of a series, following the previous collection by Ernie Klinger.

"Friday is an informal opportunity to just meet and talk with her about the paintings or anything else," said Marchand.

She notes that Ellard uses a variety of mediums, such as canvas or metal panels, in her detailed artworks depicting rural landscapes.

"All the artwork is for sale, people can purchase right there if they want to any time the show is up or they can come back to the gallery's website and buy it through there, either one works," Marchand added.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event, no sign-up is required, and anyone interested in more information can visit Grasslands Gallery Online.
