It's a problem the SPCA currently can't help with.

A number of stray cats have been seen roaming the city for the past couple of weeks, but thanks to a ringworm problem at our local SPCA, none of them can be brought in.

Ringworm can be contageous and passed on easily between not only animals, but humans as well.

Plans are underway for the construction of a quarentine room at our animal shelter, as the SPCA currently waits for contractors to put thier bids in.

The quarentine room will allow sickly animals to be housed at the SPCA, while maintaining a safe environment for the other animals housed there.
