A day after the civic elections, the provincial government begins another session in Regina.

Today's throne speech is expected to be last before the Calvert government calls for an election.

Leader of the Opposition and MLA for Swift Current, Brad Wall says the Saskatchewan Party stands ready.

"We're in the fourth year of the government, effective November 5th. The Premier said he'll honour a four year election time table, and that puts us into the final stages. We're going to be by this fall, nominated in 41 of 58 ridings. We're ready."

One of the first orders of business of the government will be a vote for a 4-day work week for politicians. If passed, MLAs will get Friday off.
