In the November 9 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority, they are reporting that there are 190 new cases of the virus in the province.

Of those 190 cases, there are 15 in the Far North West zone, 1 in the Far North Central zone, 4 in the Far North East zone, 19 in the North West zone, 15 in the North Central zone, 6 in the North East zone, 76 in the Saskatoon zone, 2 in the Central West zone, 8 in the Central East zone, 25 in the Regina zone, 5 in the South West zone, 1 in the South Central zone, and 7 in the South East zone.

Six new cases have pending residence information. One case reported November 7 with pending residence information has been assigned to the North West zone.

That brings the provincial total  number of COVID-19 cases to 4,087, of which 1,289 are considered active.

There are currently 13 active cases in the South West zone.

There have been a total of 22 recoveries reported today, bringing that provincial total to 2,769.

One resident who tested positive for COVID-19 has died. The individual was in their 80's and was from the North Central zone. That brings the total number of deaths in the province to 29.

There are currently 37 people in hospital. Twenty-nine people are receiving inpatient care - 1 in the Far North West zone, 1 in the Far North East zone, 2 in the North West zone, 6 in the North Central zone, 14 in the Saskatoon zone, 4 in the Regina zone, and 1 in the South East zone.

There are 8 people in intensive care - 2 in the North Central zone, 4 in Saskatoon, and 2 in Regina.

To date, there has been 284,021 COVID-19 tests done in Saskatchewan.

And  yesterday, there was 2, 505 COVID-19 tests done.
