In the October 29 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority, they are reporting a total of 82 new cases of the virus in the province.

Public Health investigations are underway to determine the source of transmission for all new cases.

Of the 82 new cases, there are 6 in the North West zone, 11 in the North Central zone, 3 in the North East zone, 37 in the Saskatoon zone, 7 in the Central East zone, 13 in the Regina zone, 1 in the South West zone, 2 in the South Central zone, and 2 in the South East zone.

That brings the provincial number of COVID-19 cases to 2,990, of which 707 are considered active.

There are 2 active cases in the South West zone.

There were 41 more recoveries today, bringing that provincial total to 2,258.

There are 20 people in the hospital. Fourteen people are receiving inpatient care - 4 in the North Central zone, 1 in the North East zone, 6 in the Saskatoon zone, and 3 in the Regina zone.

There are currently 6 people in intensive care - 1 in the North Central zone, 4 in Saskatoon, and 1 in Regina.

There have been 25 deaths related to COVID-19 reported in the province.

To date, there have been 258,143 COVID-19 tests done in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday, there were 2,061 COVID-19 tests done.

The Thursday report for active cases in children and youth ages 0-19 years, is reporting a total number of cases of 84 for the week of October 19-25.

Of those  cases, there are 6 in the Far North West zone, 9 in the Far North East zone,14 in the North West zone,30 in the North Central zone, 13 in the North East zone, 2 in the Central West zone,11 in the Central East zone, 50 in the Saskatoon zone, 35 in the Regina zone,1 in the South Central zone, and 4 in the South East zone.
