In the  July 21 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority there are eight new cases of the virus today in the province.

There are two new cases reported in the Far North, two  in the Central Region, one in Saskatoon, and three in the South.

That brings the provincial total to 970 cases, with 142 of those cases considered active.

In the South Region there are 46 active cases.

There have been 11 more recoveries today, bringing that provincial total to 813.

The number of COVID related deaths remains at 15.

There are twelve people in hospital. Nine of those people are receiving inpatient care-seven in Saskatoon, one in the South and one in the North. 

Three people are in intensive care-two in Saskatoon and one in the South.

To date, 83,676 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan.
