Update on yesterday's multi-officer traffic stop in Swift Current

RCMP have provided an update on the North Service Road West incident yesterday.

At around 11:50 a.m., Swift Current City RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle. 

The vehicle was later located near the Trans-Canada Highway travelling down the North Service Road. 

Once they pulled over the vehicle, the driver was successfully taken into custody. 

This investigation is ongoing, with no further details being made available at this time.
