The Moose Jaw Warriors face the Saginaw Spirit in semi-final action of the Memorial Cup tonight in Saginaw, Michigan.

The Warriors fell 5-4 to the Spirit in the opening game of the round-robin last Friday. Moose Jaw then followed up with a 5-4 loss to the OHL champion London Knights on Monday before picking up a 5-3 win over the QMJHL's Drummondville Voltigeurs on Tuesday to earn a spot in the semifinals.

The winner will face the Knights in the final on Sunday.

In the NHL, the Florida Panthers are one win away from advancing to the Stanley Cup Final after picking up a 3-2 road win over the New York Rangers to take a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference Final. Gustav Forsling, Sam Bennett and Anton Lundell scored for the Panthers, who host game six on Saturday.

Tonight, the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars play game five of the Western Conference Final in the Lone Star State. Game six is in Edmonton on Sunday.

Wolverines highlight another busy weekend of lacrosse

The Wolverines welcome the Weyburn Razorbacks for their first PGLL visit to Swift Current on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. from S3 Arenas.

Meanwhile, the U7 and U9 Rampage teams host the Rampage Lacrosse Festival all weekend at both S3 Arenas, welcoming teams from Weyburn, Moose Jaw and Medicine Hat.

Mavs rout T-Wolves to punch ticket to NBA Finals

Luca Doncic and Kyrie Irving had 36 points apiece as the Dallas Mavericks completed a gentleman's sweep of the Minnesota Timberwolves with a 124-103 victory to capture their third NBA Western Conference championship. The Mavericks will face the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals with game one set for Thursday.

Blue Jays debut "City Connect" jerseys tonight against Pirates

The Toronto Blue Jays will have a new look when they start a weekend series with the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight. The team will play in their "City Connect" jerseys, which are dark blue in colour with the Toronto skyline, including the CN Tower and the Rogers Centre dome, featured on the front and a stylized "T" logo on the cap.

Jose Berrios will start for the Jays in the opener.

CFL pre-season wraps up

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are idle as the CFL pre-season wraps up tonight with the Toronto Argonauts hosting the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, the Ottawa Redblacks welcoming the Montreal Alouettes, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers entertaining the Calgary Stampeders and the BC Lions hosting the Edmonton Elks.

The Riders open the regular season on June 8 in Edmonton.
