Canada Post has issued a yellow delivery service alert for the province of Saskatchewan as a direct result of the poor air quality.

Deliveries across the province could be affected today as forest fire smoke has caused poor air quality.

A yellow delivery service alert means that Canada Post will do their best to deliver mail, however, it may be delayed or interrupted.

Full delivery and postal services will resume once conditions improve and it is safe to do so.

Red delivery alerts are currently in effect for Buffalo Narrows, Patuanau, Beauval, Clearwater, Île-à-la-Crosse, Island Lake, and Turnor Lake.
