Men's Am

The field of 111 golfers features 14 locals with scores ranging from -7 to +36.

An opening round 65 including nine birdies for Saskatoon's Roman Timmerman has given him a three-shot lead headed into day two.

Elmwood Golf Club's Brent Wotypka is the local leader at +1 after firing an opening round 73 as he sits tied for 15th.

Men's Mid-Am

The Saskatchewan Mid-Amateur Men's Championships has much smaller field with just 48 golfers competing with four of them being locals.

Prince Albert's Danny Klughart has a two-shot lead after he posted a four-under 68 today.

Swift Current's Brent Wotypka is the top local sitting tied for sixth at one-over.
