The Swift Current 57’s picked up a 13-10 road win over the Saskatoon Berries on Monday night for their second straight victory.

Swift Current trailed 3-0 after the first inning and 9-2 after five before scoring nine runs in the seventh inning to take the lead. Kai Gray hit a double and drove in three runs while Marcus Graham and Cullen Verville had three hits and two RBI each. Brody Alexandre went 2-for-4 with a double and Jose Ayala also hit a double.

57's starter Andres Mendez allowed six earned runs on five hits and struck out three batters over four innings of work. Jacob Young picked up the win in relief (2.2 IP, 3 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 2 SO) while Klevert Martina pitched a seven-out save and struck out four. Carter Kopp was the losing pitcher for Saskatoon.

The 57’s (6-15) head to Regina to face the Red Sox on Tuesday night.
