The Christmas Craft and Trade Show  has become an annual tradition in Shaunavon.

Held this past weekend at the Shaunavon Elks Hall,  the show was a success according to organizer Leona Brewer. She said, "I was quite happy with the turn out. Not as good as our past Trade Shows have been, but it has a lot to do with COVID."

About 200 people came through the doors over the two days it ran, and there were about 24 exhibitors in attendance.

Brewer says this year all proceeds raised were divided among three local organizations.

The Shaunavon Playschool, the 4H Archery Club and the Shaunavon Food Bank each received a donation of $340.00.

Brewer also sent out a special thank you to the 4H Archery Club for helping with the show set up and take down.

She adds that  she's already preparing for the Spring Craft and Trade Show which will happen in April.
