She always has a smile on her face, but underneath we know that she is hidding the pain her name is Amisha Hockridge.  Amisha was diagnosed at birth with Microtia, this is a congenital deformity where the external ear is underdeveloped and causes deafness.  She'd had 13 surgeries to date and has another one coming up, more about Amisha and her medical journey click here

Amisha's next surgery is not paid for by the Sask Health plan so the Hockrige family must once again pay out of pocket for this. It is expected to cost $10,000 just for the surgery let alone the travel, meals and time away from work.  YOU can help out this weekend, there is a online fundraising auction that will start this Saturday at noon and close at 9pm on Sunday, April 30th

Here is the link to start bidding on items that have been graciously donated from many organzations and businesses around our community.

You can also make contributions to the Go Fund Me Page and follow Amisha on the Facebook Page
