Shaunavon RCMP has apprehended the individual.

They extend a thank you for the cooperation of all those involved in this incident.

Update written 9:45 a.m.

An additional media release has been issued by Saskatchewan RCMP with more details. 

Police have determined the individual was armed with a knife, entered the business, threatened the occupants and left with a sum of cash.

No physical injuries were reported.

Shaunavon RCMP, Ponteix RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services are working to apprehend the suspect.

Shaunavon RCMP is looking for a suspect after an armed robbery at the Co-op Liquor store this morning. 

According to a media release, the incident occurred just after 8 a.m., and the suspect was last seen on foot around Central Street and 5th Avenue. 

The individual is described as male, seen wearing all black with a bandana covering his face, and a light grey-green hat with white gloves.

If you see this suspect, do not approach and call 911 advising the location.

Anyone with information related to this advisory is asked to call 310-RCMP for immediate response.
