In what has been a monumental year for Shaunavon's Hunter Brothers, the video for their new single "Born and Raised" was released on Wednesday August 23rd.

Ty Hunter spoke about what the video means to them. "It's been one of the most sentimental and pivotal moments of our career so far. 'Born and Raised" is really a song that means a lot to us and I think it speaks to everyone as we all have a story, and we all have people and life circumstances that have shaped us and brought us to where we are today. So, we can certainly say we're proud of where we're from, and above that, really thankful."

A portion of that video was shot at their Born and Raised Concert held at the Hunter Family farm on July 14th, that also had performances from Jamie Warren and Beverly Mahood.

Over $60,000 was raised for local charities including Telemiracle, Shaunavon Minor Hockey, Rock Solid Refuge, The Arnal Boys Bursary, and the Perk Up Our Parks committee. Hunter says over $8,000 will be presented to each charity at a later date.

After harvest is complete, the brothers are planning some concert dates, a trip to Nashville for more music, a promotional trip to Ontario, and rehearsals for performances coming up in 2018.

The Hunter Brothers will be performing at the CCMA Legends Show September 8th in Saskatoon. And they are also nominated for a CCMA Award-Interactive Artist or Group of the Year.
