Update written February 23 at 11:57 a.m.:

On February 23 at 11:47 a.m., the Saskatchewan RCMP sent out an amendment to their original media release issued earlier in the week.

According to the updated release, the collision involved a semi-truck and a car. The lone driver of the car was a 37-year-old woman from Prince Albert, declared deceased on the scene. 

In the original press release, Saskatchewan RCMP stated the woman was from Swift Current and had been driving an SUV. 

Original article written February 20 at 3:07 p.m.:

Turtleford/Glaslyn RCMP were called to a serious collision on Sunday morning around 8 a.m., at the intersection of Highway 3 and Range Road 3173 near Glaslyn. 

Traffic was re-routed, with emergency responders on the scene until 6:45 p.m. The collision involved a semi-truck and an SUV.

In a media release issued this afternoon, Saskatchewan RCMP confirmed that the driver and lone occupant of the SUV, a 37-year-old woman from Swift Current, was found dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi-truck did not report any injuries.

Turtleford/Glaslyn RCMP continue to investigate with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
