A southwest resident involved in a stabbing that took place in Maple Creek in early April had his court case adjourned again yesterday.

On April 5th, 35-year-old Ricki Rockthunder, was arrested by RCMP for his alleged actions in the incident that took place at a Maple Creek residence.

Yesterday morning he adjourned his Provincial Court case matters to June 7th, in order to arrange an appearance in front of a Queens Bench judge.

The defence counsel indicated that he wishes to have the matter of his bail reviewed by a Queens Bench judge, after originally being denied bail by the Provincial Court judge on April 19th.

The Nekaneet First Nation resident is facing 5 charges stemming from the incident that includes aggravated assault, forcible confinement, two counts of uttering threats, and breaching conditions.
