Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall

Premier Brad Wall is hoping a conflict will be resolved between the next federal election and five provincial elections, including Saskatchewan's next vote in 2015.

The federal election is set for October 19th of that year, less than a month before Saskatchewan voters go to the polls on November 2nd.

Wall says he hopes Ottawa will move their date, but if not, they will move Saskatchewan's election date to April of 2016.

Wall adds there will also be more seats up for grabs in the next election.

The 61 ridings will be the most in the province since the Legislature had 66 seats in 1986.
