A group of activists that stretches from one side of the country to the other, is criticizing the Conservative Government for its plans to address gun control in Canada.

The federal government has announced plans to scrap the laws the require fire arms owners to register their weapons, but the Canadian Unregistered Firearms Owners Association is more concerned with the part that forces owners to be licensed themselves.

CUFOA Secretary, Ed Hudson, says that while the new Conservative bill, which would see registering of fire arms removed, Bill C-31 appears to make licensing a permanent fixture.

CUFOA is encouraging firearms owners to voice their opinions on the changes to their Members of Parliament.
