The Autumn spirit continues to keep the southwest alive with events happening all over. 

November 4 will see a Fall Supper at St.Olaf’s Lutheran Church in Swift Current. There will be two sittings for the meal, the first at 4:30 p.m. and the next at 6:00 p.m. To get a hold of tickets for the meal, people are encouraged to pick them up at the church or call in at 306-773-4697. Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $10 for children from six to ten years of age, and those 5 years and younger will eat free. 
 

On Sunday, November 5, from 10a.m. to 4p.m. Gull Lake EDC and Gull Lake Ambulance invite you to Wrap It Up For The Holidays Craft and Tradeshow, where you can support local and small businesses this Christmas. The event has a $3 admission and will be held at the Gull Lake Recreation Center. It will also feature a raffle table $5 for 10 tickets. 

Top mixed curling teams from every Province and Territory will be playing in Swift Current, kicking off on Sunday. The local curling club encourages people to come on out and cheer on our local Provincial Champions Colton Flasch, Kelly Schafer, Chris and Teejay Haichert. 
Admission is free. 

Chimney Coulee is an important archaeological site, in addition to possessing a pre-contact component, it also provides a window into the reality of the people living in the area during the second half of the 19th century. Solène Mallet Gauthier, a Ph.D. candidate in anthropology at the University of Alberta, will present an overview of the work and findings during the 2022/2023 excavations at Chimney Coulee. This will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Eastend Public Library. 

Later on Sunday in Eastend, the annual Fowl Supper will take place at the Eastend Memorial Hall and will give people the choice of a turkey or ham supper. 
Doors will open at 5 p.m. and ticket prices are as follows, with all proceeds going towards the maintenance of Eastend Memorial Hall.
