The active COVID-19 case total got back on the decline Monday afternoon, as announced in the Sask Health Authority’s daily update.

The SHA reported one new confirmed case, along with four more recoveries.

There have now been 316 overall reported cases – all are now confirmed.

The recovery total is up to 238 as well.

Meanwhile that active case total is now down to 74. In the three days prior, the total had seen back-to-back days of 75, before an increase to 77 on Sunday.

The new case is in the 80+ age range.

Once again, the south region of the province stayed put at 15 overall reported cases. Two of those cases still remain active.

Four people remain in hospital due to the virus. Three are receiving inpatient care, with the fourth in the ICU.

Of the 316 cases, the source of contraction for 20 of those remains under investigation.

As of Monday, 24,412 tests for the virus have been performed around the province.
