There will be 24 students graduating today from the Shaunavon High School.

Although there will be a ceremony starting at four p.m., it will look very different than in previous years due to COVID-19.

The graduates, along with the Grad Chairpersons, the Masters of Ceremonies, the Principal, and a Videographer will gather at the High School Gymnasium at four o'clock this afternoon. The ceremonies will be live streamed to their family's homes.

Shaunavon High School Principal, Connie Allemand, says there will also be a special event for the public to be a part of following the ceremonies. "We would really like to conclude it with a Drive-By Receiving Line where the graduates will stand on the sidewalk in front of Shaunavon High School, and then the public can drive by at six o'clock so that they can see our graduates."

They ask that you come from Center Street down 7th Avenue to the west past the High School.

Following the Reception Line, students will be joining their families at home.
