Highway #4 is starting to see some big changes just south of Cadillac.

Paving has begun on a previously washed-out section of the highway.

Costing a total of $2.5 million, four culverts were installed south of the town. These come after the previous bridge had washed away during a flooding event.

The work began all the way back in September of 2023. Dan Palmer, Sask. Ministry of Highways Media Spokesperson, addresses the delay in the completion of this project.

"They got installed before the last construction season ended in 2023," said Palmer. "What folks were waiting on there, just to kind of wrap the project up, was repaving."

With the paving underway, the work is expected to be done later this week, if not today.
