Wayne Erlandson, Superintendant with Swift Current Light and Power, says that citizens have used a lot of power this year, but not the most ever recorded.

On July 24th, residents of Swift Current used just over 27 megawatts of power.  The single day record was back in August of 2003 when over 29 megawatts of power was used in only one day.Erlandson says that although we have almost 40 megawatts a day to use, it is best to try to conserve power.
