Houses all across Swift Current were cloaked in the spirit of Halloween last night, with one house luring in hundreds of trick-or-treaters.

Situated on the southside of the city, Dorothy Quebec’s door had 518 knocks, with families from all over the city coming to see the display.

“Last year we had 502 and that was our record,” she said. “So, we broke that record this year.”

Quebec added that she and her husband have been going all-out on Halloween for the past twenty or so years.

Each year, the pair decorates their yard and house over the span of multiple weeks to get everything set up in time for the big night.

“It’s kind of hectic when they all come at once,” she laughed. “But it’s fun."
