The Gravelbourg RCMP have made an arrest in connection to a fatal rollover four months ago.

Christopher Otterson was taken into custody by the Gravelbourg RCMP on Sunday after their investigation aided by Saskatchewan RCMP Collision Reconstructionist alleged, he was driving under the influence.

The collision took place on Highway 58 south of Gravelbourg back on June 18 at 4:10 a.m. and killed a 20-year-old male from the Gravelbourg area.

Otterson, a 20-year-old, is facing four charges as a result of the single-vehicle crash; one count of operating a conveyance while impaired causing death, one count of operating a conveyance while impaired over 80 mg causing death, one count of operating a conveyance while impaired causing bodily harm, and one count of operating a conveyance while impaired over 80 mg causing bodily harm.

He is scheduled to appear in court on November 9 in Assiniboia.
